We provide Lions Message in a Bottle canisters to local residents. The canister enables people to keep essential personal and medical information in a recognised place within their home, where it can be found quickly by emergency services if needed.

We participate in the Lions Recycle for Sight programme. Members of the public can donate unwanted spectacles at Specsavers Yeovil, where our members collect them for onward recycling through the Lions network. Suitable spectacles can support eye-care projects, while unusable materials are recycled responsibly.

We provide grants and donations to local charities, community organisations, schools, youth groups and other good causes. We also consider requests to support individuals and families experiencing hardship or other particular needs.

Requests for support are considered individually by the Club, with priority normally given to Yeovil and the surrounding area.
